Meet Allison Fischer, owner and lead therapist at Fischer Speech Therapy Solutions. With over 14 years of experience in pediatric speech and language therapy, Allison is passionate about providing practical, functional solutions to help children thrive. She earned her Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida and has worked in various settings, including private clinics, schools, and home visits. We’re thrilled to have her meeting with clients privately inside Nido!
Allison lives in Old Hickory with her husband, Casey, and their two kids, Aubrey (11) and Tyler (7). On weekends, they enjoy spending time on the water. Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, Allison moved to Nashville in 2015 and loves the seasons—though she'll always be a beach girl at heart!

Lakeside ISR Kristina Richie
Meet Kristina Richie, your Certified ISR Instructor, who offers life-saving swim lessons right here in the Nido community! Kristina and her husband, Luke, have called Mt. Juliet home since 2014, where they’ve built a life with their three little redheads: Parker, Preston, and Piper. Their family loves spending time on the water—boating, wake surfing, and enjoying peaceful views of Old Hickory Lake from their backyard.
Before becoming an ISR instructor, Kristina was a classroom teacher and managed education programs for a symphony orchestra. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education from Miami (Ohio) University and a Master’s from the University of Chicago, with her teaching career starting in 2007. Teaching has always been her passion, and she’s excited to share critical water safety and Self-Rescue® skills with the little ones in our community.
Kristina’s ISR journey began with her own children, prioritizing water safety while living near a lake and having a backyard pool. She is deeply grateful for the joy and safety ISR brought to her family and loves empowering children with these life-saving skills. We are thrilled to have Kristina as part of the Nido family!
